Food and beverages
For the free summer school, the festival will NOT provide food nor beverages. Therefor we recommend everyone to bring their own lunch pack. If need, there are shops located close by, and Åsane Kulturhus has both a café and vending machines.
Where
All of the activities of the children's summer school will take place at the modern and great Åsane Kulturhus, in the heart of Åsane. Surrounded by shops and close to Åsane central bus station. Åsane Kulturhus is also where the TAIGF´s Competition and concerts will take place, so lots of interesting happenings surround the children's school.

How to get there, and accomodation
The participants of the free children's summer school are responsible for their own transportation and meals. It is up the their parent wheater they choose to bring and get their kids themselves, or use the public transportation system. If there are participants from other cities, they are themselves responsible for finding accomodation and setting up transportation.
For whom is the children's summer school
The typic children's summer school student is a curious child aged 10-16 that is quite new to the guitar but wants to learn, have fun and meet and make new friends. You go to guitar class, and you know something about the guitar, but are still far from an expert. If you already know how to read music well, and are used to performing solo pieces in front of an audience, you should apply for the "adults" summer school where the classes is more advanced. Your teacher would help you decide on which school is for you.
