What to expect

You can expect to learn a lot, make new friends, spend time with the artists, enjoy lectures and both play for your heroes and watch other peoples Classes with them. Not to mention attending some amazing evening concerts.

Accommodation 
If you are part of the summer school for aspiring professionals, we recommend you stay at Åsane Folkehøyskole (ÅFHS), as this is where most of the people will stay and the fun is happening. Here you will be provided with everything you need; meals, beautiful surrondings, recreational areas and a shuttle bus to take you to and from the concerts and competition. 

 

If you only participate in the competition, it´s also possible to stay at ÅFHS, but festival participants and "early-birds" will be prioritized.

Accommodation at ÅFHS has to be added in the checkout while signing up for the festival.

Food and beverages

Both active and passive participants of the TAIGF´s Adult summer school will be provided breakfast, lunch and dinner, in the boarding schools dining area.
If you're only in the competition and choose to house elsewhere, you can still enjoy the meals at Åsane folkehøyskole, by buying the meal plan in the checkout, while signing up for the competition. 

 

Where
All of the activities of the school for aspiring professionals will take place at Åsane folkehøyskole. TAIGF´s Competition and concerts will take place at Åsane kulturhus.

Getting to the Concerts and Competition (Åsane kulturhus)
Surrounded by shops and close to Åsane central bus station, Åsane Kulturhus is where the TAIGF´s Competition and concerts will take place. There will be an shuttle bus, multiple times every day, bringing the festivals participants back and forth to attend the competition and or concerts

For whom is the aspiring professionals summer school?

The school for aspiring professionals is for everyone that wants to to learn a lot, make new friends, break bread with the artists, enjoy lectures and both play for your heroes and watch other peoples classes with them.

Passive participant
It is possible to attend the aspiring professionals summer school as a "passive participant". This means you have access to all the same features as the rest, but you will not be playing, in any masterclasses.
